Dhaka, Jul 8 (bdnews24.com) -- The key index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange has registered a marginal 1.66 point loss halfway into Sunday's trade. The DGEN reached 0.04 percent down or 4289.15 points at 12:30pm on the week's first business day.
Shares and mutual funds worth around Tk552.11 million changed hands so far with prices of 103 issues advancing, 98 declining and 35 remaining at their opening prices until 12:30 pm.
The index reached its peak at 4342.87 points around 11:15am.
The Dhaka Stocks key index lost 6.17 percent or 282 points after previous week's trading.
