Washington: The White House says that President Barack Obama House Republican legislation, much of which would delay President health care for a year and advertise, would reject a tax on medical devices.
The White House statement comes as the Republican sledge House avert prepares a Bill a Government shutdown to delay Tuesday morning, but the health care law and to discuss the repeal of the tax as a price for it. The medical devices tax helps healthcare finance law.
Democratic-run Senate approved legislation prevents shutting down and not touches the health care overhaul. This Act of 2010 was Obama's proudest national accomplishment.
The White House says the House Bill would a narrow ideological agenda to advance and threaten the economy. It says that the Bill pushes the Government to shut down. LD/UNB
